Published Feb 11, 2019Hamilton-based brewer Collective Arts is set to throw its second annual Liquid Art Festival this June, and organizers have now announced the event's musical lineup.
Acts set to play over the event's two days include Real Estate, the Blue Stones, Birds of Bellwoods, Valley, Begonia, Monowhales, ROMES and Cartel Madras. A second stage that will feature local and acoustic acts has yet to be announced.
The fest's first day on June 14 will feature performances from Begonia, ROMES and the Blue Stones, while the music-making will be split between two sessions the following day on June 15. A first Saturday sesh will see Valley and Birds of Bellwoods perform, with Monowhales, Cartel Madras and Real Estate rounding out the second day.
"We started the Liquid Art Festival as a way to embrace everything that Collective Arts is. We want a beer fan to learn about new music, and a music fan to fall in love with craft beer," Collective Arts co-founder Matt Johnston explained in a statement. "We want to be tastemakers in all that we do, and we're really excited to bring this lineup as the soundtrack to the festival this year."
